Psci-commers might be interested in the latest issue of "Pharmacology
Matters" from the British Pharmacological Society - a special issue on
public engagement.
There's a diverse range of articles including "Self-experimentation and
the Nobel Prize", an article from David Nutt on "Guerilla Pharmacology
Research" and a nice review of communicating risk and benefit with
infographics amongst others.
It is available at the BPS website

harmacology_Matters/December%202012.pdf
or use the shortened version http://bit.ly/VVJbks
We had a well-attended symposium yesterday at the society's winter
meeting which brought together pharmacologists interested in public
engagement to share ideas and encourage each other. Hopefully the first
of many...
We plan to have further articles in Pharmacology Matters on public
engagement so if anyone has ideas please do get in touch.
Best wishes
