Dear Lorna and list
What you are doing sounds very interesting and I regret that I don't have
the time to critique what you are doing.
However, in case it is of interest here's a link to work I did on a BBC
locative experiment http://researchonline.rca.ac.uk/1000/ which was
location-sensitive but NOT location-specific. You may find the methods
interesting.
I expect you are already aware of this:
> Josephine Reid, Richard Hull, Ben Clayton, Tom Melamed, and Phil Stenton.
> 2011.
> A research methodology for evaluating location aware experiences.
> Personal Ubiquitous Comput. 15, 1 (January 2011), 53-60.

Good luck with your research,

Subject: [PHD-DESIGN] Designing for Location-Dependence - A call for
Critique
> Hello All,
> For my doctoral research, I have developed a framework for the design &
> development of playful location-dependent experiences. I am looking for anyone
> who has been involved in the design, development or deployment of these works
> to critique the framework I have developed in the light of their own
> experiences.
>
> The framework is concerned with the design and development of playful
> location-dependent interactive experiences. It has been developed to support
> designers in creating these experiences, to highlight potential pit-falls, and
> to offer suggestions for tools/methods/prompts for use in this process.
>
> I am reaching out to the creators of location-dependent experiences in order
> to elicit critique of the framework from the perspective of someone who was
> been there. I am interested in whether you would think the framework to be
> useful, given your experiences in creating this style of experience.
>
> € The framework is hosted online at http://designforlocation.org
> € An overview of the inspiration and background for the framework can be found
> at http://designforlocation.org/overview.
>
> If you have the time to look over it, I would be delighted to hear your
> thoughts on it's form/usage/applicability, and invite you to respond to the
> questions in the feedback form at
> http://designforlocation.org/feedback-on-the-framework/ If you have comments
> on specific areas of the framework, you can also comment directly on those
> pages of the site.
>
> Please, be brutally honest! Your feedback will be used to inform future
> iterations of the framework.
>
> Kind regards and looking forward to your critiques,
> Lorna
