Further to my previous notice we'd like to remind you that the abstract submission date for our June 2013 conference: Music Therapy Advances in Neuro-disability: Innovations in Research and Practice
is January 11th 2013.
This two-day conference on June 7 & 8 2013 offers delegates an opportunity to share knowledge and information on the therapeutic applications of music for those with neuro-disability through acquired or neurodegenerative conditions.
Presentations will focus on evidence-based research and practice in this exciting field. Professionals from the fields of music therapy, music in health, music neuroscience, music psychology and music technology are invited to submit abstracts under the following themes:
Current research projects, research methodology, systematic reviews or the development of theory with relevance to the field of music therapy and neuro-disability
Focussing on music in health practice people with neuro-degenerative conditions, stroke and brain injured clients including the development of new techniques, theory, and case studies. Submissions from non-music therapy backgrounds with relevance to clinical work in this field are welcomed.
