Dr Richard Hamblyn, 'The Invention of Clouds'
Richard Hamblyn will revisit his award-winning book on the amateur
meteorologist Luke Howard who, in 1802, gave clouds the names we use today.
The lecture is presented in connection with the current exhibition
'Atmospheres: Investigating the Weather from Aristotle to Ozone' and as
part of the Museum's occasional series Between the Lines.
