The School of Arts and Humanities at NTU is currently inviting applications from well qualified candidates, who have or expect to graduate with good first degrees or Masters level qualifications, to undertake doctoral studies in a range of the School’s subject areas.
As part of the university's commitment to investing in postgraduate studies, NTU is awarding 12 fully-funded Vice-Chancellor’s PhD Scholarships for 2013.
In addition, the School is pleased to announce one fully funded PhD place, funded by the AHRC Block Grant. Applications for this are welcomed in History, in areas of research expertise within the School which include: medieval and early modern British and European history; early modern Spanish American history; modern and contemporary British, European and North American history; public history; global history.
