Hi everyone,

I'm having a go at producing a 'Beginners Guide to XOT' as a little thought project and felt that I ought to share it with you before I went too far down this particular path and see what you thought of it.

The object consists of a link to a short HTML5 video ( on page 2) which covers the very start of understanding how to construct a new Learning Object, its then followed by a short quiz to test understanding.

Since the 'bones' of it, - the HTML5 video - will also work on an ipad, I decided to have a go at producing an HTML5 'cheat' version of the xerte object which should also run on an iPad or iPhone. If you open it up on either it should run the 'cheat' version.

You can find it at:

http://www.jwhlearning.co.uk/xot/

(Can't do anything about the Lancashire accent though!)

I know there are accessibility implications of having a 'non-standard'
background and a moving object at the start and end.

It should work with most (hopefully all newer browsers).

Please take a look and let me know your thoughts.
