We are interested in improving the experience of our new staff undergoing their departmental induction, which may involve the use of technology. I was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to give me information on the induction process for new staff in your institution. How do you induct new staff? What kinds of information are involved in the induction? Do you use technology? If so, which technologies do you use and how do you use them? Just to clarify, I am interested in new staff induction for your library/learning services staff rather than academic staff or staff in other departments.
