Dear Colleagues,
Thank you very much for your emails. The following are the companies some of
you recommended for flexible learning space in a library:

ry-seating/

So far, I have only contacted our internal company here at Oxford and I will
then benchmark them with the above.
The ideas for our flexible learning space are as follows:
Computers’ workstation (but not too many computers!)
Sofas (many of them), low tables, a magazines/newspapers stand/rack
A big but silent! television with wireless headphones for up to 5 students
so that they can comfortably watch a film from our collection of DVDs (I
hope this does not cause a copyright issue? All our DVDs are ERA or
purchased. Will double-check that)
And… the possibility to drink coffee and tea. Sofas must be coffee-tea proof
and not in leather as I do not want to annoy our vegetarian population.
Hopefully my dream will be as nice as reality.
Best wishes, and one again thank you for your help,
Lucile
