Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at the University of Birmingham
The College of Arts and Law at the University of Birmingham invites proposals for one or more Leverhulme Early Career Fellowships, to be taken up in 2013/14.
Suitably qualified potential applicants in any area of German Studies are invited to contact Professor Bill Dodd ([log in to unmask], tel 0121 414 6185) in the first instance to discuss, in confidence, the feasibility of an application under the Scheme.
The deadline for the required College of Arts and Law approval is Monday 21st January 2013. Decisions on College approval will be communicated by Monday 28th January 2013.
Potential applicants are asked to supply the following for consideration by the College:
- their name and current institution.
- a one page CV with either the date of submission of their doctorate or the date of their doctoral viva (see Scheme details for eligibility rules).
- a summary of their intended research. The summary should be concise (one paragraph) and give a clear indication of the research.
- a brief statement on the strength of the proposal from an academic member of staff who is familiar with both the applicant and the intended research.
