Hi Joseph
Thanks for this.
I see what's happened - I have taken 'This content item is visible to all users until a Grade criterion is created' to mean 'this item is visible until someone meets the criteria you have set up'; it actually means 'this item is visible until you've created a rule, which will make it invisible' !
Best
Alex

Subject: Re: Adaptive release for assignments not working
You cant do what you are trying to do.
Adaptive release is "Visible IF"
You are trying to do a "Not Visible IF"
The rule should say "item is visible WHEN a certain criterion is met"
I am afraid under the current blackboard settings there isnt a way to make a assignment point disappear when someone has submitted to it.
The closest you can get would be to make the assignment disappear for everybody at a certain date/time
Regards
Joseph
