You cant do what you are trying to do.
Adaptive release is "Visible IF"
You are trying to do a "Not Visible IF"
The rule should say "item is visible WHEN a certain criterion is met"
I am afraid under the current blackboard settings there isnt a way to make
a assignment point disappear when someone has submitted to it.
The closest you can get would be to make the assignment disappear for
everybody at a certain date/time
