EDINA, at the University of Edinburgh, enjoys an excellent reputation
for delivering innovative online services to UK higher and further
education. These form part of the ?virtual library? for staff and
students and are used by over 400 universities and colleges. This is
an excellent opportunity to join a talented and friendly organisation.

support repositories of research literature and related scholarly
outputs in UK Higher and Further Education institutions. This includes
the initiation and management of negotiations for delivery of new and
existing services and projects. You will be enthusiastic about
enhancing and sustaining services and planning project activity in
this area.

An experienced Project or Service Manager, you will have significant
experience in a senior role of having managed a variety of successful
projects or services.

You will be a graduate with proven experience, preferably in an IT/web
application environment. Flexibility, initiative, and the ability to
manage relationships with external organisations will be considered
key qualities. Experience of working within higher education would be
an advantage and knowledge of scholarly communication, online services
or repositories would benefit the role.

This post is fixed-term for two years.

There are many advantages to working at the University. Benefits
include flexible working, an excellent pension, career prospects and
generous holiday provision.
