Apols for replying to the whole list, but this may need crowdsourcing.
I'd love to record this bloke's tales. I have the relevant portable
equipment, and I think there could be a facinating CD here, of
interest to the general public, not just museum people. But
Hartlepool's a long way from Kingswinford, and I think it would need
at least one on-site visit, given the gentleman's state of health. I'd
need some funds if I were going to take it on. Does anyone have any
money that they'd like to put into something like this?
Alternatively, does anyone know a useful person in radio broadcasting?
This is the sort of thing that Radio 4 should cover. Maybe Kim
Al-Khalili's "Life Scientific"?
