Your question is a bit sparse. So you have been able, to start a Linux
environment within the VM? What Linux Distribution do you use? What is
the error message you received?
If you really have to work with Windows and run a 32Bit version of
Linux, then using the NeuroDebian VirtualMachine might be more
convenient (http://neuro.debian.net/vm.html). However, I would strongly
discourage this method, if you want to use it seriously for data
analysis and not just some testings and tryouts. You might consider a
dual boot option, to run Linux as 64bit version natively on your machine.
