Dear Dr. Smith and FSL users,
For the Smith 2009 PNAS paper, Figure 1 in supporting information says that the lowest slice is at -28 mm but it seems that the lowest slice is at -38 mm instead. I have confirmed it by myself but would like to hear opinions of Dr.Smith and FSL users as well. The z threshold value for IC maps was 3 in Figure 1 but this values was changed to 2 later on. Could you tell me how this value was obtained and why it was changed from 3 to 2? I am also wondering the range (min and max) of the background structural image used in the paper.
In addition, I wonder why deactivation voxels in each IC map were not shown at all. Were there any good reasons to hide or to discard them or were they not significant enough to be shown at that time?
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Namgyun Lee
