Dear Archives-NRA list members,
Where Creating Capacity came from
---------
You may remember that two and a half years ago Creating Capacity was
established as a social enterprise. It was the result of a commissioning
grant from MLA and support from Renaissance London. It aimed to continue and
develop MLA London's training programme providing high quality affordable
training for museums, libraries and archives in London and around the
country. So this is a reminder that Creating Capacity:
* Operates as a social enterprise, putting profits back in to training
development
* Is focused on the needs of museum, library and archive professionals
* Is inspired by you - you decide which course run when
* Is managed by Hopkins Van Mil: Creating Connections, an agency which works
exclusively in the public sector on capacity building.
You can find out more in our report A Sustainable Future for CPP
http://bit.ly/CC_cpd. We are passionately committed to meeting training
needs, and investing in the future of our sector.
So we'd love to hear what you need
----------
If there is some learning or training you are desperate to have but can't
see on offer pages why not tell us? Submit your course idea
http://bit.ly/CC_Idea with brief information on the content and the
benefits. If we think it's possible to make it work we'll add it to the list
of courses on offer, see who else is interested (via the bidding online) and
find a fabulous Creating Capacity trainer to design and deliver it. If your
course gets selected to run 20% will be taken off your course fee as a thank
you for getting involved in the programme design.
Best wishes,
Henrietta
