Greetings from New Zealand,
I'm currently working for a local council in NZ and am looking at the
impacts of improving safety around schools through a range of traffic
engineering measures.
I would expect that making walking and cycling to school safer would
persuade a few students (and /or their parents) to switch from travelling to
school by car to using more active modes. Is anyone aware of any evidence
that this is in fact the case?
Many thanks
John
