Please help us get our Imperial Fringe programme off to a flying start next week by bringing your friends to our first event next Thursday, when we shall be looking at the science behind our fears to get you in the mood for Halloween.
When? 18.00-21.00, Thursday 25 October 2012
Where? Main Entrance, Imperial College London, Exhibition Road, London, SW7 2AZ

Find out if we can die of fright with cardiologist Sian Harding, take a tour of a real human brain with neuropathologist Steve Gentleman, and join soapbox scientist Leon Vanstone as he gears up the Imperial tricycle to take you on a journey to the ends of the Earth. Find out from the Imperial College Robotics Society what you have to fear from AI, and create an illustrated comic book of your fears with Neurocomic. If all that makes you feel snoozy, then come to the sleep lab and talk to physiologist Mary Morrell about whether your sleep is a nightmare. Also featuring science writer, broadcaster and zombie expert Frank Swain.
Imperial Fringe is a series of monthly evening public events exploring the unexpected side of science. Prepare to think in new dimensions as you join us on a voyage of discovery and debate, inspired by Imperial's research. All events are free and open to all - let us know you're coming at http://www.facebook.com/events/275489139223734/. Drinks and snacks available from the pay bar throughout.
