Is this a situation where you have a case for adding preferred title data (RDA 6.2) ?
A word, character, or group of words and/or characters by which a work is known, from any source?

Yes, I cheated a bit, and treated the AACR logo on the t.p. as if it were a sub-title, but I did want to create a variant title along the lines of:
Commonly referred to as: AACR2

Thanks Anne
I ended up putting the variant title into Œother title information©ö in my non-MARC template. Primarily because I wanted to record it and wasn©öt sure where to put it!

Right. This one made me wish I had done these in MARC instead of the RDA template ?or to turn that negative into a positive, I'm hoping to learn a lot in discussion with you all!!!
Usual caveats ¡© not teaching material; just feeling my way on some of these issues, and in this case very unsure about where to put a variant title (AACR2).
