Its funny how the scammers faking these messages always pick on poor old Madrid. Is it
really that dangerous a place? Or is it simply that its the sort of place that people 'pop-off' to
without telling their friends?
On the other hand I did have one recently that supposedly the mugging had happened on an
unexpected trip to England - that was more believable...
