Job Description: Medical Statistician
The Health Informatics Department and the Quality Outcome Research Unit (QUORU) have developed a role along side some of the country leading clinicians to investigate and research the application of Health Informatics within the University Hospitals Birmingham as a result a technical/scientific and clinically understanding individual will be required to work with the lead clinicians. QUORU is an International Research Organization with a track record of significant impact for the NHS and works in collaboration with several National and International Organisations. The post-holder will be responsible for creating a suite of research outputs, working with informatics teams based in the University of Birmingham and clinicians within the University Hospitals Birmingham. The post-holder will be responsible for both the construction and ongoing management of research projects as well as ensuring that sufficient governance processes are in place to provide transparency and accountability.
