The archaeological dig taking place about 800 yards or so from where I live
in Leicester has now found a skeleton with curvature of the spine and
evidence of head trauma which suggests it may be that of the king (although
the latter could be a result of attending a poetry reading). A stronger,
less circumstantial identification will have to wait DNA testing but
whatever the outcome I implore the authorities (whoever they may be) to
institute a mandatory death sentence (preferably by pole-axing) for anybody
from Leicester/ Leicestershire/ the Universe who writes a poem upon the
subject.
