Also the links that result from a search of "Meet the Googles" in web
search Google that do not lead to one of my research guides, will lead in
most cases to search strategies that are found in use in Google Scholar,
Google Books, Scirus and Temple Summon Search.

I do fully agree with the earlier poster who is now ducking that in my
experience, many professional people in a wide variety of fields have very
little knowledge of how to construct a search and the problems and
challenges of getting words in combination to find the on topic sources
that respond to ones information needs. Many information seekers who
would study a manual carefully before using or working with programs like
Excel or Photoshop, think that one can simply combine a couple of words or
so into a search tool and get exactly what one is looking for without
expending significant mental energy on the process. I have never seen an
end user seek out instruction content on searching technique or expend
effort in learning searching protocols in systems they need to use to get
information.
