Hello list,
Thanks to everyone for replies to my call for advice on wireless data loggers and freezers. The information I received is below.
=====================================================
Freezers
[Conservation by Design] have a modular cold storage product that may be of interest, which can be set up inside an existing facility quite easily. Often people think they need huge amounts of equipment and space but it simply not the case.
For more generic information, please view the website: http://www.conservation-by-design.co.uk/category.aspx?id=413
- this is too big for our very small needs.
you can use domestic freezers for this purpose - but you'll need some airtight bags for the purpose. I'll send you a link to something from the US national archives: http://www.archives.gov/preservation/storage/cold-storage-photos.html

Data loggers
We have data loggers in our various archive stores which feed in to a box up in our office which is on the company computer network - we can access the information on our laptops even when we are not in the office.
These were provided by Hanwell - http://www.hanwell.com/
Regards,
Anna
