I think you're stuck with running a Frontier squid; last I checked
neither the SL5 nor SL6 packages were suitable. What you can do is
run a standard squid as well for the cvmfs stuff. Absent anything
obviously wrong with the frontier squid, I'm not sure that's an
improvement.
