Fields of Vision is convened by Leeds Rugby Arts (Leeds Rugby Foundation) and hosted in association with the Research Institute for Sport, Physical Activity and Leisure (Leeds Metropolitan University) to bring together those interested or engaged in the historical and contemporary relationship between the arts and sport, to facilitate interdisciplinary partnerships and to further opportunities for both knowledge and practice.

The Fields of Vision conference and its associate arts programme is supported by funding from Arts Council England. Partners also include Rugby League Cares, Headingley LitFest and imove, a Cultural Olympiad programme in Yorkshire, funded by Legacy Trust UK, creating a lasting impact from the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games by funding ideas and local talent to inspire creativity across the UK.
