Dear all,
We (Durham University and NETPark) have been working with a fantastic group of young people from Framwellgate School, Durham who’ve produced a short film about careers in STEM – a film for young people, by young people. Several organisations have been involved in interviews and content and we hope to have the final version ready soon.
One of the things that they’d like to do is to have a website for the film with some background info & the question of “why STEM?” has come up. We’d like to have quotes about what inspires people about STEM, why they’ve pursued a career in STEM, why it’s important, what they love about it. Big questions!
It would be amazing if you’d be happy to share your thoughts on this as quotes that we could use on the website. Or perhaps quotes from others that inspire you. Please email me off list ([log in to unmask]) with your quote and confirm that you’d be happy for us to use it on our website.
So….why STEM?
What inspires you about STEM?
Why have you pursued a career in STEM?
What do you love about STEM?
Why is STEM important?
Many thanks,
Lorraine
