Closing date approaching, book your place now!
How do cataloguing standards like FRBR and ISBD help libraries publish linked data? What issues are encountered when publishing open and linked data? How can library linked data combine with archive and museum data to contribute to national heritage?
The final programme is confirmed for the 2nd Linked Open Data Conference from the Cataloguing and Indexing Group in Scotland (CIGS). Featuring speakers from across Europe, with keynote presentation from Richard Wallis, Technology Evangelist at OCLC, Opening Library Linked Data to National Heritage is set to be a must for those interested in linked open data and the semantic web. The conference will be of relevance if you work with or are responsible for cataloguing, cultural heritage metadata, resource discovery, or data interoperability and are interested in linked data, open data and the semantic web - learn how your metadata can work harder for you and others, and how other people's metadata can work harder for you.
