Hi Andrew
I think its a great idea, though I don't suppose I will get time off to come. If it does happen I'm sure there are those of us that could benefit from hearing about what happened so keep us all in the loop please.
Regards
Elizabeth

Subject: A possible training event!
Dear all,
Sorry for the speculative nature of this, but I wondered if there would be interest in a 'game making for information literacy instruction' type event?
I'm considering running an event in Leeds (possibly 3rd or 10th of December), where we'd learn about play & games (some talking, some playing), then work in groups to actually create some prototype games for teaching information literacy skills.
Everyone would take away at least one prototype idea, plus a copy of my card game SEEK! (www.indiegogo.com/infolit-games), as well as lots of ideas about using games in information literacy instruction.
I'd guess the cost would be between £65 & £75 depending on room hire / catering and what materials I bring for games creation.
If there is a positive reaction, I'll arrange a room over the next few days and advertise the event...
Thank you,
Andrew
