The CS-PFP is not used clinically very often - its a bit too laborious, although an excellent test for assessing a range of functional tasks. Have you looked at the SPPB? It primarily about locomotion, strength and balance and is far more commonly used in the clinic.

Hi everyone,
I am curious to know if anyone uses any functional assessments like CS-PFP? Of if you have any comments about measuring physical performance in older folks. The PFP for example includes functional measures of tasks typically required for independent living.

I haven't seen many clinicians use it though I feel it maybe an important screening tool for ageing individuals.
Thanks!!
