There does not appear to be any consensus that men on
testosterone replacement need to have their serum
testosterone concentrations monitored at all. Unless you
are thinking of noncompliance. The situation is a bit
like oestradiol replacement for women in the old days. I
suppose what matters to the patient is how he feels about
the replacement regime.
