Dear Colleague
Invitation to a Research Dissemination Event:
EVALUATING THE CLAHRC INITIATIVE: A RESEARCH PERSPECTIVE
Friday 16 November 2012
As you may be aware, a project team at Warwick Business School led by Professor Harry Scarbrough, has been conducting a study of the role of CLAHRCs for the last two and a half years. Another team at the school, led by Professor Andy Lockett, has also been evaluating CLAHRCs and we are delighted to announce we are hosting a joint dissemination event later this year. We would be pleased if you could join us.
Presentations will include a Keynote from Professor Huw Davies who was centrally involved in the development of the CLAHRC initiative, and research findings from two major projects (led by Professor Andy Lockett and Professor Harry Scarbrough respectively) which provide the latest evidence on that development and its implications for the theory and practice of knowledge translation. The workshop will conclude with a Panel discussion involving past and current CLAHRC Directors.
The event will take place at Scarman House Conference Centre, University of Warwick and is being organised by Warwick Business School with full sponsorship by the NIHR Health Services and Delivery Research (HS&DR) programme (www.netscc.ac.uk/hsdr).
There is no registration or participation fee and lunch and refreshments will be provided. Further details, including the outline programme and biographies of the speakers and panel members, are available on request from [log in to unmask]
Further details will be communicated in due course, but given that diaries get busy very quickly, we wanted to inform you about this exciting event well in advance.
Please confirm your participation to [log in to unmask] and let her know of any special dietary or access requirements you have.
We very much hope you will be able to join us and look forward to hearing from you soon.
With best wishes
Professor Harry Scarbrough & Professor Andy Lockett
