You are correct. My question is
How many requests come from individuals who search for a resource, find
a result and click on it, thus arriving at the repository.
Rather than the numbers of requests, I'm interested in the proportion of
requests, compared with other sources, which may be no referrer (e.g.
URL typed in directly or link from email or Twitter client besides the
Web client) or links from other web sites.
