We want to extract eigenvariates from our data (using this command: fslmeants -i $data/filtered_func_data.nii.gz -o eigenvariates_$ROI.txt -m $ROImask --eig -v ).
It indicates that the output will be demeaned. Is there a reason that this is the default (is this preferred for some reason?)? And is there a way to get an output that is not demeaned? We want to use these eigenvariates for a subsequent analysis that uses a variety of other inputs and don't think it makes sense for the eigenvariates to be demeaned in this way.
Thanks
Sarah
