A permanent Records Manager post has arisen in Warwickshire County Council's Records Management Service.
Salary: £23,708-£26,276 per annum
Weekly hours: 37
Closing date for applications: 28th August
This role is an exciting mix of the traditional records manager role managing paper records and the use of electronic records in order to help move the council towards electronic working, supporting our Property Rationalisation and New Ways of Working programmes and service-led changes.
The Records Management Service looks after Warwickshire County Council's non-current paper records and provides advice and guidance to all service teams. The service has its own warehouse and manages an external company to respond to increasing volumes. This post will manage the day-to-day operation of this store, manage the small Records Management team and provide advice and guidance on paper and electronic records storage to all service teams.
You will also assist with the rollout of organisation-wide electronic content, document and records management systems ranging from shared network fileshare structures and cloud storage through to more formally declared and managed records in the organisation's EDRM system.
Warwickshire is at the forefront of using cloud services and more open systems, giving a records manager the challenge of managing electronic content in a changing world.
Our method of application is online via the WMJobs portal at: www.wmjobs.co.uk Search under "Information Management" in the Job Type category.
