Think this is a totally unprofessional and unnecessary flippant reply to a serious question that makes me seriously consider withdrawing from this list.

Subject: Posters and leaflets
In Leeds Library and Information Service, we are currently looking at how we deal with posters and leaflets from the public, organisations, charities etc. (we get asked to display rather a lot of them).
We'd really like to find out how other library authorities manage posters & leaflets, the following areas are of particular interest:
* Do you have a written poster & leaflet policy?
* What do you allow/refuse in terms of content of posters & leaflets? e.g. charities, commercial businesses, local
info. only?
. Do you have a community information folder
* How do you display posters? E.g. noticeboard, poster strings, in a folder etc.
* Do you display all posters for free or do you charge for some?
* Do you use digital signage or other technology to promote community information?
Happy to collate and share any response.
Thank-you
