Hi,
Maybe you are looking for something like:
fslmaths maskfile -kernel sphere 4 -ero -bin eroded_mask -odt char
Note, that sphere uses mm, so you have to adjust it according to your
voxelsize to include only a single voxel. Just check the different
kernel options, maybe the boxv suits you more.
