Some of the score comparisons have to be treated carefully. It may look like
a massive jump but is entirely reasonable if the right resources have been
made available. You may also see interim scores drop and then go back up
later as evidence goes out of date and is then brought back up to date.
For your information the Toolkit has been on the go since 2004/5 (my mind is
failing...) and in more recent times there is now a requirement to submit
evidence to support the scores being claimed which is held centrally and can
be audited. With the massive NHS changes going on now this may change. It's
also changing for PCTs as they cease to function and are replaced by the new
organisational structure in a cost saving exercise by the government that
seemed to fail to take into account the huge expense of making the
transition. Governments may change, but the mistakes stay the same....
You cannot access the evidence as a member of the public due to information
governance requirements as confidential information may have been provided.
Simon.

Yes I'm working my way through it and I've just put a query in to the Welsh
Assembly for guidance on how this works in Wales.
I found this very interesting - one organisation went from 4% to 66% grade
between version 8 and 9 - they certainly must have done some training. I'll
follow your guidance and yes I'm that way inclined!

Brian,
You can see everything that an NHS user can except the returns stuff. You
can even do reports on what trusts "scored" for the last year end return
(31st March). Select requirements, select an organisation type, when
presented with the requirements click "view" next to the requirement (right
hand side). Loads of stuff to read, if you are that way inclined.
Simon.
