Dear all
I have been thinking about organising a Capital and Class/CSE panel for the CLS event next year.
It would be interesting to introduce themes from our recent special issues on the panel, and in the CLS tradition, to invite an activist who has been involved in these publications. My suggestion from my own SI Parallel Visions of Peer Production Issue 97 will be to invite one of the peer to peer production activists who both attended my 2009 Peer to Peer Production and PI Divisions of Labour conference I held at Salford, and published in the SI I edited.
There are several other SIs that could be represented on the panel, so if this interests any of you, please let me know and let's co-organise.
You'll note the tight turnaround time for the proposals, so please email me asap [log in to unmask] with interest.
Yours, Phoebe

This year's conference is organised by colleagues at Ruskin College
Critical Labour Studies: 9th Symposium 2013
Venue: Ruskin College, Oxford - Date: 2-3 March 2013
Call for papers and sessions
In 2013 CLS celebrates its 10-year anniversary. This coincides with the major historic move for Ruskin College from its historical base in central Oxford to a single-site at its Headington campus. So, CLS 2013 will be held at Ruskin to celebrate the achievements of two organisations pivotal to stimulating debate and discussion amongst peers across labour movements in the UK and globally. In further recognition of the location of CLS next year we seek to encourage contributions/participants who can bring a labour education dimension.
