The National Archives has published its refreshed action plan for archives, 'Archives for the 21st Century In Action: Refreshed'
http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/archives-sector/archives-21-century.htm
The plan builds on the government policy for archives, 'Archives for the 21st Century'. It sets out the actions we believe we can all take to develop a stronger, more sustainable sector, and The National Archives commitments to archives over the next three years.
Colleagues from The National Archives will use the action plan as the foundation for our work engaging with archives, from building partnerships and developing new initiatives to advising on new ways of working. We hope that the document will also be useful for you in supporting business planning, advocating for archives within your organisations and showing how archives can really support local and government priorities.
