Health Economist
Introduction
This is an opportunity to work for an international company specialising in Health Economics, Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO), Epidemiology, and Translations and Linguistic Validation. With offices across Europe, USA and Asia they specialise in consultancy projects for a range of international clients in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for contributing to all aspects of the department’s work particularly in decision modelling and related statistical analyses.
You will be expected to embrace and contribute to the culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining processes, adding value to the business, and meeting client needs.
Take responsibility for co-ordinating own workload and embrace teamwork approach
Experience and Qualification
A Master’s degree or equivalent in statistics or econometrics, preferably including a medical statistics component.
A genuine interest in health technology appraisal and economic evaluation methods and applications.
A strong desire to learn and to gain a deep understanding of the work of the department.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
High self-motivation.
Leadership potential.
The health economics team comprises some of the best brains in the business and the company is keen to hire someone who is keen to undertake external training as well as on the job training from senior health economists.
Location: Is commutable from the South East region of England, Warwickshire and Northamptonshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire (to the south), Wiltshire and Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire
