One possible solution is to use the feat_gm_prepare in order to take under consideration any difference in the anatomy of these two groups...Do you think that this is going to work? Do you have any similar experience on that?
The next stage of the analysis of resting state fMRI data is to find an index of the functional connectivity. For this puprose I am thinking to calculate the mean timecourse of each region of the DMN and then to calculate the correlation coefficients of the mean timecourses of different regions. For example corrcoef(mean timecourse region1, mean timecourse region2. To do that I need a kind of template. There are three possible ways.
1) Find the DMN component of each patient, control separately
2) Perform one concat MELODIC on controls and one other on patients and then use the DMN component for each group separately
3) If the duall regression works, I could use the DMN component estimated after the dual regression procedure for each patient.
If you have any comment/advice is going to be really useful for my project.
