I think the putting an image into a powerpoint presentation comes under
the definition of a collective work, so long as the image hasn't been
modified, so the share-alike clause for derivative works doesn't come
into play.
If the image has been modified then it (the image, not the whole
powerpoint stack) may only be distributed with a CC:BY-SA licence.
Legally "distributed" doesn't necessarily mean putting the derivative in
Jorum, but there are other reasons for that being a Good Thing.
