Guided walk exploring the lead mining industry in and around the
northern part of Bordley Township. Meet at the western end of Malham
Moor Lane at 10.00 expecting to return at about 16.00. The walk
itself is over rough terrain so walking boots or strong shoes
required together with waterproofs, sun hat and sun cream, a packed
lunch and plenty of water. No toilet facilities or shops. No
unaccompanied children under 16. Not suitable for very young children.
Location: Near Bordley Green BD23 6NE. Meet at NGR SD 951 653 on
Malham Moor Lane near the cattle grid. Off-road parking available.
