INFORMS IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE ITS 2011 IMPACT FACTORS
INFORMS is proud to announce the 2011 Impact Factors for its journals.
Once again our journals in the categories of management and operations
research & management science (OR&MS) continue to solidify their place
among all journals in the categories. INFORMS cited half-lifes have also
increased, providing further evidence that the content of INFORMS
journals is valued by researchers for many years after publication.
Eleven of INFORMS 13 journals are now indexed and ranked in Thomson
Reuters Journal Citation Reports (JCR).
Information System Research is one of the top 10 journals in the
information science and library science category along with a 5-year
impact factor of 4.131.
Organization Science moved up three spots in the management category and
is now the 8th ranked journal with a 4.338 impact factor and a 5.613
5-year impact factor.
Operations Research has maintained its position in the 2011 rankings of
OR&MS journals adding another great year to its rankings.
Transportation Science moved up of five spots in the OR&MS rankings and
is now ranked in the top 10 with an impact factor of 1.507.
Decision Analysis has received its first impact factor and is rewarded
with an impact factor of 2.143 in the management category, ranking it 38
out of 167 journals.
M&SOM (Manufacturing & Service Operations Management) has now been
indexed back to 2006 and its first 5-year impact factor is 2.356.
