College Curator
Salary is in the range £32,256 to £38,072 per annum inclusive of London Allowance
An exciting opportunity for the post of College Curator has arisen in Royal Holloway’s Library and Archives Service.
Working alongside the College Archivist, the Curator will be responsible for the care, presentation and promotion of the College's extensive art and art-related collections. These include the primary collection of Victorian paintings as well as associated collections of sculptures, vases, ornaments and other objets d'art. The Curator will contribute to the development of the collections through research, displays and exhibitions. The Curator will be expected to work proactively across academic departments and professional services at Royal Holloway and with external bodies and organisations.
The successful candidate will have substantial relevant qualifications and experience, be a skilled communicator to a range of audiences and have a passion for exploring and exploiting the collections in innovative ways.
The post is available from as soon as possible and is based in Egham, Surrey.
