Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer within the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) funded Biomedical Research Centre for Mental Health (BRC) at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLaM) and the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London (KCL). Both SLaM and KCL are partner organisations within the King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre (www.kingshealthpartners.org).
The successful applicant will work within an established team in the BRC Bioinformatics and Statistics theme including programmers, data managers, bioinformaticians and statisticians. The post holder will be responsible for providing statistical collaboration and leadership with researchers planning and conducting experimental and observational studies. A particular focus will be innovative methods for the robust evaluation of treatment effects and mechanisms from studies with and without randomisation, and in inference from electronic medical records data.
The appointment will be made, dependent on relevant qualifications within the Grade 7 scale, currently £40,313 to £47,659 including £2,323 London Allowance, per annum.
The post is available for three years.
