Dear Colleagues,
I am Dr Osadebamwen Ighile, an MSc student in Health informatics working at the University of Leeds under the supervision of Dr Rick Jones.
The rapidly increasing use of networked eHealth records is creating opportunities for new modes of interaction between clinicians and hospital laboratories. One example is the use of eConsultation where through secure access hospital clinicians can be given permission to explore individual GP clinical records to provide advice on treatment and referral. In renal medicine such an approach has reduced unnecessary clinic visits and improved the quality of care.
I am currently conducting a survey to find out whether a model of eConsultation could enhance pathology services. I am seeking the views, opinions and requirements of users and providers of Laboratory services.
If you are a laboratory user (GP, Nurse, Specialist) - please click here.

If you are a laboratory provider (Pathologist, Clinical scientist) - please click here

Please forward this to any GPs or clinicians who you think may be interested in this topic.
Thanks you for your help,
Yours sincerely,
Osadebamwen Ighile
