Birmingham Made Me is the inaugural Design Expo at the Mailbox as part of IDEA Birmingham, a 'think and do' tank set up between Midlands universities and businesses to focus on fully exploiting the region's innovation and design capabilities.

As part of Birmingham Made Me a number of participating companies have allowed access to material from their archives via the Obsessionista's curated Design Archives virtual exhibit, intended to support a physical exhibition at the event.

Throughout the week a series of talks and seminars will be held and Graham Powell (one part of the Obsessionista's curatorial team) will be introducing the Design Archives and talking about Midlands' design heritage on Friday 15th between 5-7pm in the Entrepreneur's Store at the Mailbox in Birmingham.
