The Royal Statistical Society Statistical Computing Section (SCS) is pleased to invite you to attend a one-day meeting to discuss applications and recent developments of the environment for statistical computing and graphics R. Invited speakers from academia, industry and education will share examples of successful use of R in their work– although some limitations of R will be pointed out too.
The meeting is relevant to:
• statisticians, engineers and other analysts working with R, or planning on moving to the R environment;
• undergraduate and graduate students who work, or plan to work, with R;
• anyone who wish to learn about R's potential and limitations;
• anyone who wishes to network with colleagues from relevant areas.
